Cambodia - The Khmer & Indiana Jones
The Angkor Conservation District is one of the most important archaeological areas in South-East Asia. Stretching over some 400 square kilometers, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire, from the 9th to the 15th century. They include the incredible Temple of Angkor Wat, and Angkor Thom which is close to the Bayon Temple with its countless sculptural decorations. I've added some street scenes to this cultural offering and hope you enjoy this brief set of highlights. The full travelogue is under the International Travel section of this web site.
